OMG- You stole David Cassidy (or like my brother would say, Assidy) from me.
ReplyDeleteMy first 8 track was Blood Sweat and Tears. Of course, you certainly topped me with Donny. Leave it to Beaver still rocks!
These were GREAT! I loved how 8 tracks would clunk right in the middle of a song! And I, too, loved both David Cassidy and Donny Osmond. Both are kinda still cute today, aren't they?? They have aged well--like us. ;) LOVE LOVE LOVE Badminton!!! We have a tourney each summer--are you in?? AND I saw Rush in concert too--my ears are still ringing! Geesh, they were loud. Ahhhh, memories.
ReplyDeleteI love that your first concert was Rush...mine was Weird Al...my dad took my sister and I when I was around 7 or 8...Rush came much later for me...

@ Harriet - I didn't stick long with David Cassidy, but it was a bit longer than Bobby Sherman. I was a big young for him. I still enjoy Leave It To Beaver when I come across it when I'm channel surfing.
ReplyDelete@ Lin - My sister used to get so frustrated at that with her Dynomite 8. I think the loudest concert I went to was AC/DC, third row. I think I just got my hearing back.
@ Kelly B - I don't even have I clue how I managed to talk my parents into seeing Rush.
