30 Days of Truth - Day 01 - Something you hate about yourself

I've seen this around, but couldn't find the origins.

30 Days Of Truth
Day 01 → Something you hate about yourself.
Day 02 → Something you love about yourself.
Day 03 → Something you have to forgive yourself for.
Day 04 → Something you have to forgive someone for.
Day 05 → Something you hope to do in your life.
Day 06 → Something you hope you never have to do.
Day 07 → Someone who has made your life worth living for.
Day 08 → Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit.
Day 09 → Someone you didn’t want to let go, but just drifted.
Day 10 → Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know.
Day 11 → Something people seem to compliment you the most on.
Day 12 → Something you never get compliments on.
Day 13 → A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough ass days. (write a letter.)
Day 14 → A hero that has let you down. (letter)
Day 15 → Something or someone you couldn’t live without, because you’ve tried living without it.
Day 16 → Someone or something you definitely could live without.
Day 17 → A book you’ve read that changed your views on something.
Day 18 → Your views on gay marriage.
Day 19 → What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?
Day 20 → Your views on drugs and alcohol.
Day 21 → (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?
Day 22 → Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.
Day 23 → Something you wish you had done in your life.
Day 24 → Make a play list to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)
Day 25 → The reason you believe you’re still alive today.
Day 26 → Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?
Day 27 → What’s the best thing going for you right now?
Day 28 → What if you were pregnant or got someone pregnant, what would you do?
Day 29 → Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.
Day 30 → A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself

Day 01 → Something you hate about yourself.

The inability to accept certain circumstances. That covers a lot I know, but it's so true.

Review - CSN Online Stores

CSN Stores approached me to do a review. I selected an item from their over 200 websites. I checked out Accent Furniture and Home Decor, kids beds, bar stools, dining rooms Swingsets And More, and cookware. I ordered the Black Micro-Fiber Storage Ottoman. Regular price $99, on sale 30% off. Great deal!

The item arrived in excellent condition and appears to be quite well built. I like the wood frame you see in the inside, it provides extra support and I have no worries that the unit will be out of square. I really like that the lid doubles as a tray. I bought this to hide away my personal papers, mail, bills to be paid so that they are hidden, yet I can get to them when I want to. I'm not organized enough to have my desk handle this, and for some reason I really like that stuff at my fingertips. This ottoman will hide it away, keeping my living room neat, and I won't stress about where the stuff is. The black goes well with my brown leather furniture and cherry entertainment unit.

Ordering online was fast and easy. The product was delivered on time.

I will definitely check them out the next time I'm shopping for just about anything.

Lola's Diner Disclaimer: I was given product to review. This review is 100% my opinion and has not been edited or reviewed by anyone. I was not compensated in any other way for this product review.

Thursday Thunks...

Welcome to the September 30th edition of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
We pick a subject, and your job is to interpret it anyway you want.
Write about it on your blog... simple as that.
Maybe you can interpret it as a picture -
we don't care!
Please only leave a link if you have written a Thursday Thunks post.
Don't forget to go visit the other participants' blogs.
Read and comment about all their Thursday Thunks responses!
That's what all this is about after all, isn't it?
We'll have so much fun and become lifelong friends....
The TT questions are brought to you by Kimber, the color of absolute black granite and the number 16.

101. When was the last time you went to the doctor? Do you like your doctor? Been awhile, but I've been to my kid's doctors more times than I care to say in the last 2 months. I'd really like to go, just to weigh in since I don't have a scale at home. Seriously! I want to know how much weight I've lost. (How many people do you know want to weigh in at the doctor?) And no, I don't like my doctor, if you are a regular here, you know why.

201. My back is itching, will you scratch it for me? I guess, but just don't ask me to pop a back zit.

301. Do you have nice handwriting? So I've been told. And yes, I am left handed and I still get compliments.

401. We are sending you to either New Zealand or Canada, which one do you choose? Oh Canada!

501. Do you sing in the shower? Sometimes. Sometimes I do other things.

601. Have you ever been streaking? If so, how far did you streak and did anyone see you? Not unless you count the time that I almost passed out in the shower and streaked to the bedroom to lie down. Umm yeah, my girlfriend saw me. Lol!

701. How soon is too soon for Christmas decorations and music playing in the stores? This year anytime is too soon. I will be Scrooge this year for realz.

801. If you celebrated Halloween as a kid what was the costume you wore at 5? I think I was the Devil. Oh look! I still am!

901. How many cavities have you had in your life? Oh please, don't you have something better to ask?

1001. Berleen and Bud come to Arizona to visit Kimber. Who do you think will decide it's too hot here first? That all depends...what does Kimber look like?

1101. Who do you think will ask TT questions next week? Ooh-ooh-ooooh! Me! Me! Me!

Random Tuesday Thoughts

Busy weekend with the Homecoming Dance. My son went with friends and ended up having a "date" when he got there. A girl asked him to dance and took his tie to signify he was her "date". He got the tie back today. Typical teen, he won't provide any more details than that. And no, it wasn't one of the girls in this photo.
I sucked it up and told his dad about his hair and sent him a photo. (We've got enough drama around here without causing more, so I thought I would take the bullet and tell him.) He claimed he liked it. I warned him he better not dare harass him about it.

Monday Mayhem

Monday Mayhem – #40 ~ Ten Anyone? Meme

1. Why do you blog? Because I CAN.

2. Name your three best memories. New Year's Eve (early 80's.) New Year's Eve Memories. My first camping trip. (No longer a camping virgin.) My first real vacation. (Summer of '76 Florida Road Trip.)

3. Name 4 of the best fiction books you’ve read. I don’t typically read fiction. I recently did a Book Review - Good Enough To Eat by Stacey Ballis. I really enjoyed it and had I not received it to do the review I would have read it anyway. I read biography’s mostly, unless I'm reading for a review. I am supposed to be reading The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, but I haven't had a chance to start.

4. What are the 5 best movies ever made? (and that I love….) Casablanca, Office Space, The Big Chill, Bound, and When Harry Met Sally.

5. Name 5 things I can’t live without. Air, water, food...the other 2 would be tmi.

6. If you could change your name what would it be? Ellen DeGeneres - I told you this last week. But I do think the name Siobhan is kewl.

7. Tell us a unique and interesting fact about yourself. I’m not really Ellen DeGeneres or Oprah.

8. What do you love best about yourself? Ordinarily I would say my sense of humor, but I'm going with...my magnetism.

9. If you had a “Freaky Friday” experience, who would you change places with? Definitely not Angelina Jolie! (I mean...I like kids, but that's just crazy!) I'm gonna go with Lindsay Lohan. (Minus the cocaine.) Yes! I'm certain I could get her (oh that would be me, right) straightened out and it would be kinda fun to be a celebrity lesbian.

10. What is the best thing about being a woman. Having a v'jay jay.

Sunday Stealing

Sunday Stealing: The “I’ve Been Tagged” Meme

1. Where are you from? Cheeseland.

2. If you could live any place in the world, where would you live? Just about anywhere, as long as my kids are with me and it's close to my girlfriend.

3. What’s your favorite blog? I’ll check them out of course! I don't think I have a current favorite.

4. What is your biggest blogging pet peeve? TROJANS/MALWARE. I was sunk for several hours on Friday due to several Trojans.

5. What’s your favorite TV show this season? I need a new show! I think I've only watched 1 new show this season so far. The Defenders, and I thought it sucked. I will stick with my ol' standbys...The Good Wife, Hell's Kitchen (or whatever version is currently on), Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy (which I missed the season premiere of and need to watch online, shhhh! Don't spoil it for me!), Medium.

6. What’s your favorite ‘down’ time {nothing computer related}? Sleeping is always good. And that other bedroom thing. ;)

7. Are you a parent? If so, what’s your favorite thing to do with your children? I enjoy going to the driving range with them and working with them to improve their swing.

8. What about your blog, have you considered changing? I dunno. Last week I was thinking of pitching the whole thing. The lack of comments is getting me down.

9. What do you do for a living (if you work outside the home or if you work at home)? I don't work, I'm independently wealthy. (That's how my girlfriend's sister said to answer that question. It's definitely more sexy than "I don't work, I'm on disability.")

10. What is your favorite song at the moment? What is your favorite song ever?
Until Katy Perry was on SNL, the thing I constantly had in my head was "California Gurls". (Now that doesn't mean it's my favorite!) She was wayyyy off key on SNL. I think my favorite would have to be Bruno Mars "Just The Way You Are".

11. What is your favorite niche TV channel to watch? I only have local channels. No cable or satellite television. Does PBS count?

12. If you could have any career, what would it be and why? I have no idea.

13. What is your favorite outfit? I don't think I've bought it yet.

14. If you could tell your teenage self something, what would you say? Being shy gets you nowhere.

15. What is your biggest blog pet peeve? Repeat questions- see #4.

16. What is your favorite recipe? That would be Lola's Eggplant Rotolo.

17. What is the funniest joke you’ve ever heard? I don't know that I've heard it yet.

18. What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Anywhere with my girlfriend.

19. What are you most excited about with fall here? Cooler weather and campfires.

20. Did you envision yourself to be where you are today ten years ago? If not, what did you envision? I don't think I really thought of where I'd be 10 years from then. I don't think that far ahead.

21. If money were no object, what would your dream house look like?
22. What is your all-time favorite Disney movie? "Lion King" was my favorite until when my son was 2 and we watched said movie 27 bazillion times on Easter. I don't think I have an all-time favorite. The first Disney movie I saw was at the drive-in. "101 Dalmations". But I remembered it as 1001 Dalmations.

23. What’s your favorite blog to read? Or a blog you think isn’t getting enough notice? I have no idea.

Bonus points if you recognize my dream house.
