Sunday Stealing-From Danielle Selander

Hi! Our host is Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing.  Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

Stolen from Danielle Selander

 1. If you could live in a house shaped like anything what would it be? It would be a mansion. Not sure of the shape. It would be a typical mansion with several roof peaks.
2. What do you think is in outer space? It’s outta site.
3. Where is the most wonderful place you’ve ever been?Key West, FL. I with I could take a vacation there.
4. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? I would people watch complete strangers. If I were to watch people I know that would be like eavesdropping. And what if it was people you know and they were naked and/or seeing someone bending the woman over a barrel and showing her the fifty states. Seeing strangers do that rather than people you know. I don’t think I could look them in the eye, and if one or both mentions some part of that scene. I would need to leave at that point because I would laugh hysterically.
5. What is the worst smell in the world? Baby #2.
6. If you could, what animal would you be? A bear. Wouldn’t it be nice to hibernate?
7. What is the greatest thing ever invented? Indoor plumbing.
8. What is your favorite word? Why? Clearance. 😂😂😂😂 I think it speaks for itself.
9. Who is someone in history that you’d like to be friends with? Why? Pass.
10. If your pet could talk, what would it say? Get off MY chair! I’m tired of picking human hair from it.
11. Were there dinosaurs on Noah’s ark? Wouldn’t they have to be?
12. What makes you cry? Just about anything.
13. Have you ever played a joke on someone? What was it? I worked at an insurance company for awhile. We all had cubicles. We’d chat through them or eavesdrop.  A coworker, Catherine, was SUPER OCD. The coworker between her and I, Megan, would fill me in on anything I missed. We’d take turns making paperclip chains (Catherine hated that). When Catherine went on vacation I had a really good prank. Every day I would move every single thing on her desk about an eighth of an inch to the right. Nothing was out of place, just moved with everything else on her desk so everything was the same distance from each other. The day she came back we all waited with anticipation to see what she did. After everyone stopped by, welcomed her back, and chatted about her vacation she was alone in her cube. Megan could not wait. Catherine kept wheeling her desk chair back, looking around her cube. This went on for over an hour. Catherine was completely discombobulated. She knew something was different/wrong, but she couldn’t figure it out. Finally a group of us went to her cube and Megan told Catherine what had been done.
14. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do? Go through losing both my parents in my twenties. Being the oldest it was my responsibility to make the funeral arrangements. When my Mom died he brought me with him so I would know the process and be able to make his funeral arrangements. June 17th was the 37th anniversary of her death.
15. What is the most important appliance in your house? Dishwasher. We’ve had one for years. It’s waiting until we gave the money for an electrician. My life would be so much less stressful.

  1. My parents died when I was in my very early 20's. Mom died on in April 1991 and my dad died in April 1992. I too am the oldest and had to take care of all the arrangements. It was scary and hard to do.

  4. Eavesdropping, even when not invisible, is practically inevitable in this society.
