Answer to the first Ask me a question part dos...

Ok, when I posted my Answer to First Ask Me A Question, I asked: Which 5 things on the list do I actually want to do?

Only 1 person responded:

I'm going with:
white water rafting
tattoo
play guitar
skydive
and write your memoir

Am I right????

White water rafting? I was scarred for life getting into a small boat with a motor after my sister got in first. She was hugging the flippin' end of the pier so her weight was all on the side closest to the pier. When I stepped in...the boat rolled, flipping me under water, and under the pier.
Skydiving? You must be joking! Lol!
Lin got 3 out of 5 correct!
Get a tattoo - I decided that I wanted to get a tattoo when I turned 50. Since that happened in July, I decided to change it to get a tattoo while I'm 50.
Play guitar - I've always wanted to learn to play guitar. It would be so cool to learn and then bring it along camping and sing Kumbaya around the campfire. Lol! And no, I just don't want to learn Kumbaya, I want to learn some cool stuff too.
Write my memoir - Let's just say, no matter what angle I took, it would be a fascinating read. Lol!
The other 2 were learn to speak fluent Spanish, and learn to Salsa dance.

  1. I love Lin's List

I grew up white water rafting so that brought back memories..

I love body art when it is on people other than my children.. although Word Girl thinks I am kidding and keeps getting them

I tried the guitar.. I am instramentally challenged

    Yeah I wanna skydive!!

Write her memoir.. Lyn has to, it's the only way we will find out that she plays the bagpipes.. or some other such wonderfully unique talent..

  2. Dang! I thought I had ya, Lola. But learning Spanish is sorta boring in comparison to skydiving and white water rafting, so that is what threw me.

    Buggar.

    Maybe next time!

  3. @ Shauni - I "almost" went canoeing on our first and only camping trip this year in Wisconsin. It was a spur of the moment decision, but then we found out it was too late in the day to make it up to the starting position (we were at the end of the boat ride.) Body art is growing on me. I actually have picked out 2 that I like. The concept anyway. The one is a Chinese symbol, the other I have the concept, I just have to decide on the size, color, etc. I'm serious about the memoir writing, but between my coming out and all the issues I've had to deal with a certain "illness", I wouldn't know where to start. I know the coming out stuff and dating stories are fascinating, the other stuff, not so much.

@ Lin - I'm a true geek, to me learning a foreign language, especially Spanish would be really cool. I can't stand when people talk around you in Spanish.
