The very interesting part:
Drummerboy, aka Metallicahead’s former house sold. It actually sold a while ago for $88,000. Then they probably spent about $8 on Oops paint from Lowes and put lipstick on a pig. See what I mean about the paint? Gotta be Oops paint. Who would choose these colors on purpose? They were asking $125,000. This is what they got:
Yeah, that’s $90,000. So they made a profit of approximately $1,992.
Check out the roof. That’s either a brown tarp or it’s some other temporary cover that is covering the area where the roof caved in.
A dumpster was dropped off last week and some men showed up removing things and throwing them in the dumpster. We surmise that they are doing the pre-demolition work, or maybe they are gutting it, removing drywall, cabinets, etc.
The this and that parts:
Our Craftsman green riding mower is dead. I fear it may be the transmission. Spouse has tried jumping the battery and charging the battery. Nothing. It could be the alternator, the battery, or something else. One of us needs to talk to my next door neighbor who fixes small engines. I have a new guy. He just repaired my snow blower. I’m all set...come on snow! The new guy costs more, but he actually comes over and does the work. As opposed to the neighbor who says he could do this or that job, but then ducks you at every opportunity.

If they didn't do anything to the house to improve it, I'm not sure why they thought they would get a higher price. Value is determined by neighborhood comps. Sorry about the mower and your back.
