interesting, today driving to visit my daughter, i was thinking about the annual memory and i don't have one, because my life as a kid was all over the place. it made me glad i did summmer things w my kids, and was going to say that because you remember that picnic with good memories, it just proves how time spent w our kids makes a difference.
we have good camping memories, so hereis my topic suggestion:
What is your favorite outdoor place to go where your spirit is lifted and the rest of the world does not matter, where life stands still and you feel at peace?
What is your favorite road trip memory?
Favorite National Park?
Worst cooking disaster?
Ever done a post about your first pet... but in hindsight it could have been worded better.
What about a grade school question. Favorite Christmas Memory(that would be good for december). Just a thought I have a list of Holidays on My Ready to get fit site(http://ready2getfit.blogspot.com/2009/03/2-many-holidays-for-weight-watchers.html). there is a holiday for each month.4th July coming up you can do a firework adventure. I think they were so great back in the past.
You could once a month do an open week..that is when the blogger can do any subject they want. that might help in getting new ideas and open up participation.
Just thought of an idea to get more participators. If your could give the title out earlier, say the weekend before. people could write it up and schedule the post. I believe that why Ruby Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday and Aloha Friday are successful. With time differences sometimes the people miss the post.:-)
