Sunday Stealing: The 40 Meme

Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah. (Not at the same time.)
7. There’s this girl I know who :
went to like a bazillion Grateful Dead concerts. She actually followed them for almost a year around the country.
8. Once, at a bar :
I skillfully deflected a slimy kiss from what later become my future brother-in-law. I was only 1 of 5 who dodged that bullet. Bleche.

blogging and watching AMC.
10. Last night :
I watched the Cubs game with my son.

10 grand so I could pay some bills and b r e a t h e.
12. Next time I go to gym/church :
I'm afraid I'll burst into flames if Anastasia and I try to attend church near home. Lol! Not exactly GLBT friendly around here. I'm sure the next time we attend would be for a funeral or wedding. I should check the church we attended in Joliet and see if they got a new pastor yet. It was ok, but I really don't like when a church is going through a transition. I'm hoping to get a Y membership.

is AWESOME! Why wasn't she doing local theatre?

My daughter. She just doesn't seem to understand the gravity of some of her actions.
15. When I turn my head left, I see :
The purple drapes that came with the house that we hate, but can't afford to replace. And the leather sofa.
16. When I turn my head right, I see :
The Simpsons on the big screen tv.
17. You know I’m lying when :
I believe in Karma. I typically don't lie. I especially don't lie to Anastasia, it's better to just fess up. And to me omissions are lies, if you are omitting something to be deceptive, it's just as bad as lying. Full disclosure, that's my policy. ;D
18. What I miss most about the eighties :
My Mom.
19. If I was a character in Shakespeare, I’d be :
Certainly not Juliet....I have no idea. Were there any dykes in Shakespeare?
20. By this time next year :
I hope my daughter will be healthier and that things will be better for us.
21. A better name for me would be :
What's wrong with Lola? After all it was Ellen's stripper name on her sitcom.
22. I have a hard time understanding :
why if someone is depressed, despondent, feels persecuted and hates their life, why they feel it is necessary to kill innocent people and then take their own lives.

30. If you visit my hometown, I suggest :
If it's the town I'm in now, sheesh, I have no idea. I guess you could go contemplate your navel over a the village commons. They play muzak 24/7 when they don't have a movie or concert. Now, the town where I grew up, Oak Creek, WI, I have no idea. It's been more than 5 years since I've been back and they didn't really have anything to see. I doubt that's changed much. I'd say drive to Milwaukee and go for a brewery tour. Yah, that's the ticket.
31. My favorite Beatle is :
John
32. Why won’t people :
be more charitable? You can be more charitable with your time, your money, your choice of words even.

I enjoyed reading this... should consider doing the same, but I'm too lazy - and since I turn 40 in August, I'm skillfully avoiding anything with the number 40 in it! LOL! :)

I remember those 8-track tapes, huge! I was in Grade school then. I like Pink too, she has cool music. It's always interesting reading your answers. Never a dull moment in your blog. :o)
