The item arrived in excellent condition and appears to be quite well built. I like the wood frame you see in the inside, it provides extra support and I have no worries that the unit will be out of square. I really like that the lid doubles as a tray. I bought this to hide away my personal papers, mail, bills to be paid so that they are hidden, yet I can get to them when I want to. I'm not organized enough to have my desk handle this, and for some reason I really like that stuff at my fingertips. This ottoman will hide it away, keeping my living room neat, and I won't stress about where the stuff is. The black goes well with my brown leather furniture and cherry entertainment unit.

I will definitely check them out the next time I'm shopping for just about anything.

I really like these ottomans with lids where you can hide things. Is it big enough to serve as your coffee table?
@ Patricia - I'd say the size is more end table than coffee table. They do have a few that are more coffee table like with lids that turn into trays. Here is one:
