Hey! Ask Me A Question! Please?

It's baaack. Got a question?

I'll be taking your questions and answering them in this post.

Still taking more questions throughout the weekend.

Still time to get your questions in!

JD at I Do Things asks: I don't know if you're much of a TV watcher, but do you watch any reality shows? Love 'em? Hate 'em? Think they -- or TV in general -- are a waste of time? If you watch reality shows, are there some you consider to be a little more dignified than others? I'm not a fan of reality shows, I think they are a waste of time. I watch shows like Flash Forward (glad it was back last night!), Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, Medium. I do watch American Idol, but that's only because Ellen is on, and even that is getting old because it looks like she's just copying soundbites of what the other judges say. Nothing seems original or humorous.

Lin at Duck and Wheel With String asks: I'm going to go with one from one of my favorite movies "The Way We Were": "If we(you) had the chance to do it all again, tell me, would we(you)?" And you can apply that to anything. I can't say that I would have never dated men, because then I wouldn't have my 2 beautiful children, but I would definitely say I should have divorced earlier.

Linda Medrana at The Good, The Bad, The Worse asks: You had a date with a new person. Did that go well? Are you still seeing that person? You probably think you are entitled to a private life, but inquiring minds want to know! Well...I do think I am entitled to a private life and I said I wouldn't blog about my dates. But I guess I can say that we are seeing each other.

Linda Medrana at The Good, The Bad, The Worse asks: I am very glad to hear that and won't ask anything else in that vein! Do you have plans with the kids for spring break? No plans as yet, the exes haven't mentioned anything. Do you have any plans?

Stacey at All Stace, All The Time asks: I love when you do this! Okay, if a family member is mad at you and has let you know, without a doubt, that they are mad at you, shouldn't they be the one to call when they are no longer mad? I mean, calling them first could just lead to more fighting so isn't it better to wait until they are done with their snit? Even if they are the one mad, I usually still make the first call. In fact, I did just that yesterday. Life is too short to let grudges carry on. That's my thought anyway. And besides, I have very few friends outside of the blogosphere.

LJ at Musings By Mugwhump asks: Being new to you blog I may be asking something that has already gone on before. I beg your forgiveness. But my question is "If Lola is a pen name - why did you chose it? However, IF Lola is your real name is there a story behind it? Very few people know the origins. If I told everyone, it wouldn't be a mystery would it? Oh, all right, I give. I'll give you part of it. Remember Ellen Degeneres' short-lived sitcom? It's from that. Let's see if anyone who isn't already "in the know", can figure it out. Buuwhahahahahah!

Mama ASID'S Entrepod asked: I want to ask what are the best recipes you prepared from last years' harvest of Lola's Victory Garden ? The only thing that came from my garden was a 2 quarts and a pint of tomato sauce and I don't have the recipe. I got it from yahoo's Canning2 group. I also canned up Pickled Asparagus and Dilly Green Beans and I think you can find those recipes on my other site. I also attempted to can Hot and Sweet Green Tomatoes, but I used that stuff that is supposed to make canned items crisp (I can't recall the product). Anyway, it has an aftertaste, so perhaps I used too much. If I try it again, I will greatly reduce the amount I use.

Cute As A Buggy asked: Here's my question: Do you have a hard time keeping up with three blogs, two teenagers and now dating? Ahh, yeah! Anyone notice I haven't posted every day on Lola's Diner, like I usually do? And I've pretty much got writers block for my other 2 blogs. (My mind is on other things.)

I am Harriet asks: It 50 sunny right now while rest of state in the 30's with snow and ice should I feel guilty? Hell yes! It's been snowing here this morning and it's dreary and wet out.

I agree with you about Ellen. I was happy to learn she was going to judge, but . . . kinda not very constructive.

I like "good" shows like House, Lost, and CSI, but I admit to liking some reality shows, too. Easy on the brain. And sometimes lots of fun.
