Even though this is my 10th Conversation in the 10 Month - 10 Lives Challenge, it doesn't mean these conversations are over. It won't be over until Same Sex Marriage affords Gays and Lesbians the same benefits that Heterosexual Marriage does. It won't be over until hate crimes bills are passed. It won't be over until DADT is repealed. It's not over until ENDA is passed.From time to time I will post on these topics and will participate in future Campaigns. This sounds like an incredible campaign. Even though I'm straight, I think everyone should have the right to marry whom they choose, and all married couples should have the same rights and benefits.
I have a co-worker who recently went to Toronto with his partner so they could get legally married. They are now thinking of moving up there, because they aren't looked at like freaks, and they found the acceptance there that is sorely lacking in most of the US.
I'm really hoping we see at least see DADT repealed this year.
Girl you so so much for this agenda, movement, whatever you want to call it. Kudos to you for taking this challenge and sticking with it. I'm sure you changed more than 10 peoples lives.

@ Kelley - Isn't it sad that a couple has to move out of the United States to be accepted and to have the rights that they should have here in the first place? I agree, I hope DADT is repealed this year. Gays and Lesbians are risking their lives for our freedom and in order to continue to do that they have to lie about who they are. That is wrong on so many levels.
@ Jen - Thank you! I was skeptical when I first started, but I am so glad to see that I really did reach some people. It goes to show that each of us can make a difference.
