An Engineer's Guide To Cats/Cat Yodeling Instructions

After my post, Dogs, our cat Sophie has requested equal time. In order to oblige her, I offer these 2 videos. You must watch them in their entirety and I am confident that you will not doubt the validity of these 2 gentlemen's claim to be engineers.

Sophie and I are a good match as we are both accomplished marathon loungers and we spend many hours a day in rigorous lounge training sessions. I occasionally will imitate her traditional feline slumber position as I sit before my laptop. How do I know I'm doing this? Because my children will laugh loudly and snicker and grab their camera phones. It's not pretty.

Ok, now that you've watched both videos, are you going to try cat yodeling?

Do you think these guy have significant others? I'm kind of thinking they're single, what do you think? Thinking back to the club music selection, perhaps Paul and T J (the engineers) are partners?

I love these (probably partner-less) guys, and I love the yodeling cat. My beloved Gus always yodels before he throws up, which is considerate, as it gives me a heads' up if I need to scoop him up off the bed or carpeting.

Oh, I love these. I've seen the first one before and have practiced corporal cuddling ever since. Problem is that Hobbes will take any cuddling any time--so it doesn't work on him. He just loves the attention.

I don't think I want to see the camera phone shots, thank you.

@ Jd - That's got to be nice when company comes over, the cat yodels and you chase after him. Great party trick I'm sure.

@ Lin - Sophie would not stand for the corporal cuddling. It's her terms or nada. Sophie's not a cuddler, unless she senses something is wrong, like when my daughter is on one of her club med visits. Sophie will insist endless head scratching by human feet. Like I said, her terms.

@ Sandee - They really don't look like they're having a good time, do they?
