Hi! Our host is Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

1. Have Your Ever Driven Drunk Or Even Slightly Buzzed? In my younger days. I have a designated driver, my wife, but even before the pandemic I don’t think I ever had more than 1 very weak Chili’s margarita. There really aren’t many bars around here and the only gay bar around here is frequented by mostly men. In Milwaukee there was a bar on just about every corner.

2. What Was The Funniest Moment In Your Life? I can’t think of anything. If I do, I’ll come back and change this answer.

3. What Kind Of Things Really Makes You Laugh? Usually the dumbest things. When I was in high school and just after, I had a friend who could make me laugh by saying “shoehorn”. It wasn’t the word, it was the expression on her face when she said it that made me laugh. I knew one of her brothers and her younger sister. If they said “shoehorn” it had no affect on me whatsoever. And believe me, they did try!

4. If You Could Jump Into A Pool Full Of Something, What Would It Be? Water.

5. Which Habit Are You Proudest Of Breaking? Smoking. I quit April 2015 because I was having surgery to remove my gallbladder and my surgeon told me his anesthesiologist insisted I quit. I highly doubt that, I’ve had other surgeries while being a smoker and no other surgeon told me I had to quit. I’ve quit 4 or 5 times, so I’m pretty good at it. I’m thinking that’s the last time I’ll quit smoking. My allergies have gotten worse and smoking, even 2nd hand smoke bothers me.

6. Which Animal Do You Find The Sexiest Of All? If you mean actual animals, I don’t find any sexy. I am not into beastiality. Eww!

7. What’s The Weirdest Nickname You’ve Ever Had? Can’t say.

8, What Do You Wish You Were Really Good At? I wish I could play guitar really well. It would be so cool to go camping and bring out a guitar and start playing. I went on a camping trip once where the tent near us did exactly that. There was also a banjo player and flute player. It was like a private concert. The woman who I was seeing at the time enjoyed it. I told her that I had arranged the whole thing just for her. Yeah…I’m kinda smooth like that. She almost believed me. When I started giggling I gave myself away.

9. If You Were A Dog, What Kind Of Dog Would You Be? Who wrote these questions? Barbara Walters? If you could be a tree….what kind would you be? She asked that one a lot, as I recall.

10. What’s The Most Spontaneous Thing You’ve Ever Done? I would call in sick to work, call my bff, go to her apartment to pick her up, convince her to call in sick and we’d do some of the scenes from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and make up our own Ferris Days. I lived in WI at the time, so we went to Brewer’s day games, got the cheap seats and walked down and sat in empty more expensive seats. We took brewery tours…Pabst, Miller. Sometimes I drove to Chicago. I drove to Chicago a lot. That’s how I ended up moving there.

11. If You Had A Time Machine, Would You Go Back In Time Or Visit The Future? Back in time.

12. What Was The Last Show You Binge-Watched? I’ve been reading more than watching tv, so the last show I binged was probably “The Flight Attendant”. I’m looking forward to “The Many Saints of Newark”. It’s the prequel to “The Sopranos”.

13. If You Had To Rename Yourself, What Name Would You Choose? Pass.

14. What Did You Do During The Summers When You Were Growing Up? We rode our bicycles a lot. Most days all day, except for taking a break to go home for lunch. Our parents had no idea where we went.

15. If You Go To A Restaurant And Have Terrible Service, Is It Ever OK Not To Tip? If I know for certain it’s the waitress’s fault, yes, no tip. If he/she were talking to someone for a long time while our food got cold, or if he/she were incredibly rude, yes, no tip. But, if the problem was in the kitchen, then they would still get a tip because that’s beyond their control.

When I have bad service, I ask for the manager. Sometimes when I have especially good service, I ask for the manager, too, to let him/her know. But that scares the service person so I don't do it very often.

I am with you on #15. I give them the benefit of the doubt, but if they are rude. I do not do that. No tip. Loved your answers! Have a nice weekend.
